New Premier League stars take to the stage

It’s a time for football fans to start salivating, finalise their fantasy football line-ups and indulge in the beginning of yet another exciting Premier League season. Like most of you, we at HRZ are probably most eager to see the new men gracing the league for the first (or second) time. Here’s a pick of our favourites from the title challengers to get your mouth watering, who will be sure to make you forget who Luis Suarez even is. Probably.

Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal’s new forward has world class pedigree and will be most at ease on the wing, but Arsene Wenger may be eyeing up an Henry-esque transformation and turn the Chilean into a complete forward. He certainly has the talent and Wenger the managerial clout to make this a devastating reality.

Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa – the La Liga pair will bring nothing if not goals to what had been a rather bashful Chelsea attack last season. Both were directly involved in over 50 goals for Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the league last year and will be looking to put a torrid World Cup campaign behind them.

Eliaquim Mangala – the 23 year old stopper will bring agility and presence to the Man City backline and there will be high hopes that the French international can form an impenetrable partnership with Vincent Kompany. At 6’2, he towers but is equally mobile for his height and will cause a real obstacle for Premier League strikers. With City improving their defence and Chelsea improving their forward line, the title race is quite marvellously hanging in the balance.
